Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Boneless round steak, cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 Medium Onion, diced
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes (14 oz.), undrained
  • 1 Can Condensed Beef Consommé (10 oz.), undiluted
  • ½ tsp. Chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 8 oz. Country Pasta Homemade Style Egg Noodles
  • 1 Medium green pepper, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium stockpot cook steak, onion, and garlic in oil until the meat is browned.
  2. Once meat is browned, mix in water, tomatoes, consommé and seasonings
  3. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat; simmer until beef is tender, about 1 ½ hours.
  4. Stir in pasta and green pepper, and simmer uncovered, until noodles are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
